Safeguarding:

By booking onto our programme parents and guardians agree to:

1. Handing children under the age of 12 into the care of a member of LOVEtennis staff at the start of a session and collecting them from a member of LOVEtennis staff at the end of the session.

2. Our supervision and responsibility for the child, is strictly limited to the time they spend within the boundaries of our court/facility. When the child leaves these premises, responsibility for their safety and supervision transfers immediately back to their parent or guardian.

3. If a parent or guardian wishes to permit a child of 9-11 years old to travel to or from the club unaccompanied, no matter what distance, or at what time of year, they shall inform LOVEtennis in writing of this arrangement and the Hartswood Welfare Officer will be notified.

4. No child under the age of 9 should be travelling unaccompanied.

Weather:

Players should assess court conditions for themselves before playing and should not play if they feel there is a danger of slipping due to weather conditions or any other perceived hazard.

Our cancellation policy:

In case of adverse weather/facility issues, we will cancel the session no later than 15 minutes before the lesson and players will be notified via email. In these circumstances we will offer make-up lessons.

Make-up lesson policy:

Should you not be able to make a lesson we will try our very best to offer make-up lessons.

Make-up classes are subject to availability. We will try to offer a make-up sessions although this is not guaranteed. Make-up classes must be requested via email to info@love-tennis.co.uk at least a few days in advance, so that we can check if this would be possible. A maximum of two make-up classes can be given per term, provided that we space and cannot be transferred to the next term or swopped for a camp session. Should regular or replacement session not be attended for whatever reason, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.

If sessions are cancelled during the last week of the term, we will offer a make-up session.
